Organisers announced on Tuesday the inaugural three-day Orange Rainbow City Festival had been postponed due to concerns over the spread of coronavirus.
A statement from the organising committee said it was "regretfully postponing the launch" of the event.
"Given the current global COVID-19 crisis, and with the health and safety of our local community, our operators, visitors and guests paramount, the Rainbow City Festival will no longer proceed as planned for May 22-24 2020," it said.
"The committee is following the advice of local health authorities and is working closely with Orange City Council and Orange360 to determine the best pathway for the festival moving forward and securing new dates."
