Police are appealing for information in relation to two armed robberies that took place in Orange in January.

About 8.40am on Wednesday, January 22, a man who was armed with a knife entered a shop on Dalton Street and threatened staff, demanding cash and cigarettes.
The man fled north on McLachlan Street, and no one was injured.
In the second incident, a man who was armed with a knife entered a shop on Gardiner Road about 1.50pm on Monday, January 27, where he threatened the attendant, and demanded cash and cigarettes.
The man entered the back of the counter and took cigarettes before fleeing the location. There were no reports of injuries.

Detectives from Central West Police District are investigating the incidents, which they believe are linked.
As part of their investigation, detectives have released CCTV of a man who they believe can assist with their ongoing inquiries.
The man is depicted as being 160cm tall, with a thin build, wearing a black hooded jumper and pants with black sneakers with white markings.
Investigators are also urging any motorists who may have been in the area at the time of either incident and have dashcam vision to come forward.
