Mr Spiek's exhibition focuses on a variety of 'bird motif' works executed in oil on canvas and mixed mediums on paper.
Hank has over 50 years of experience exhibiting in Western USA during the 1970's, Canada in the 1980's, from the middle of the 1980's onwards in Sydney and rural NSW and since 2018 here in Orange.
Throughout that period birds, executed in various styles, have been a favourite and popular topic of his art.
He has over the years used birds as a focus of his works in an endeavour to capture one small aspect of the beauty and power that is nature, and now with the environment under extreme threat Mr Spirek wants society to understand how without birds there would be a terrible void in the world.
This effort will be part of the Society's newest group exhibition held at the Orange Cultural Centre and will be available for viewing from through April 10.
The centre is located off Sale Street in the Woolworths car park.
Entry to the centre is through the doors on the Woolworths side of the building just across from Harris Farm.
Admission is free and the exhibition is open most days.
