Apple committee event organiser Jane Arnott said the producers will offer apple tastings of early varieties, apple juice and toffee apple sales, information on apples, apple recipes and there would be apple bobbing on strings, for children.
From 10am to 10.30am chef Lindl Taylor will do a cooking demonstration with apples and other produce from the region.
Mrs Arnott said the drought has affected the size of fruit that's being harvested this apple season but it had not affected the taste.
"The ones that have been picked are absolutely delicious," she said.
The apple celebration will also continue during FOOD Week with the Apple Ramble on March 28, which will take place at three orchards and will include tastings, lunch and desert. Throughout FOOD Week, restaurants and cafes will also include apple dishes on their menus.
Orange360 general manager Caddie Marshall said the Apple Ramble offered a rare chance for people to interact with orchardists.
"The Orange region is a distinct and unique growing environment for apples and this is a great opportunity to support our local growers," Ms Marshall said.
