It is no longer possible just to say the tree looks healthy and it must stay but to consider where the tree is situated and the damage or death it could cause if effected by storm and winds which are now occurring.
At the present time there are a number of residents in Orange who have had a tree removal refused suffering mental anxiety every time a storm or strong wind warning is issued.
A large number of street trees that have been mutilated by power companies and have suffered during this prolonged drought should be rechecked and lopped if necessary, to balance the trees that have had just one side cut out to avoid power lines.
