A host of academic and student services information sessions and social activities will be held both on-campus and in the city centre from Tuesday to Friday.
Approximately 143 on-campus students have been accepted to commence their studies at the Orange campus in 2020.
CSU Deputy Vice-Chancellor Jenny Roberts said the program was designed to reflect the changing nature of on-campus life.
"The University has gone to great lengths to offer campus-specific schedules with flexibility to facilitate the delivery of useful and engaging activities for our students," she said.
"Charles Sturt University looks forward to welcoming these students to the Orange campus and helping them start their studies on the right foot."
The sessions and events offered across the three orientation revolve around students' academic, services and support sessions and university life.
The sessions will commence with an official welcome to campus from staff and student representatives starting at 11am on Tuesday on the library lawn.
"Charles Sturt University maintains a schedule of support activities and workshops and organised social events throughout the first session of study," Charles Sturt Director of External Engagement for Orange Julia Andrews said.
"Social events are community focused, and aim to connect the students with both the campus as well as with the broader community in which they will be residing for the next three or more years.
"We look forward to meeting our newest students and making sure they feel ready and equipped for their first days of tertiary study."
