With racing returning to Towac Park for the first time since November, every single favourite in the six-race meet crossed the line in first place.
Canberra trainer Luke Pepper was the biggest beneficiary as two of his runners - Ticked Off in race six and Tycoon Tily in race five, both crossed the line in first place after being labelled $3.10 and $2.70 favourites respectively.
Tycoon Tily edged out Orange-based Vaquero, with Alison Smith's gelding finishing in third behind Ross Lomax's Prince Zariz, with second and third four and five lengths behind the winner, while Ticked Off only just nudged out Escebee by half a length and It's Business Time by just under a full length.
Nick Olive's Contaminated stormed home well ahead of Karen Outtrim's Dragon's Shadow and $14 outsider Hayne Plane, trained by Peter Kirby, in the main feature the Epiroc Benchmark 66 Handicap.
Mark Gee's Goodradigbee justified its $2.30 starting price to storm home well ahead of Allan McRae's Buddabadah and Natalie Pearce's El Jay in the 1600m McSigns Maiden Plate.
Clare Cunningham's Always Roses edged out Allan McRae's Star For Effort, consigning the Yass trainer to two seconds and a third from his three starters but he finished more than $5000 up due to the prizemoney from the $12,000 features.
Bella Rubino finished behind Star For Effort and Always Roses in third in the Oriana Orange Maiden Plate.
Clayton Gallagher steered home the Merv Rundle-trained Stone in the opening race of the feature for the gelding's second win of its career and first as part of the Dubbo trainer's stable.
