Police allege a blue Nissan Navara had been stolen from a property at Maroney Close between 8.30pm and 11.40pm on Friday.
At 1.10am the emergency services were called to the car fire at Glenroi Oval where it was confirmed as the stolen Navara.
Police from Central West Police District are also investigating a break and enter at an address in Endsleigh Avenue from Friday night.
Police allege that a laundry on the property was entered between 11pm Friday and 6.30am on Saturday but nothing was taken.
However, a window was smashed on a car that was parked next to the house and a pair of prescription sunglasses and loose change was stolen.
