A MAN will appear in Orange Local Court on Tuesday facing a string of domestic-related charges.

The court appearance comes following an alleged domestic-related incident at a home on Matthews Avenue in Orange on January 28, 2020.
Officers from the Central West Police District attended the home and on arrival found a 29-year-old woman suffering serious injuries, including ligature marks around her neck and burns to her back.
The woman was taken to Orange Health Service, where she was admitted to intensive care.
A 24-year-old man was spoken to at the scene and inquiries commenced.
Following investigations, a warrant was applied for and granted for the arrest of the 24-year-old man, who was allegedly avoiding police.
At 3pm on Monday, February 17, officers arrested the 24-year-old at a home on Bundarra Crescent in Orange.
He was taken to Orange Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding cause actual bodily harm (x3), common assault (x3), attempt stalk/intimidate, intentionally choke person with recklessness.
He was refused bail.
