The Seniors Trivia Afternoon will be held at Orange City Library on Monday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Librarian Sean Brady said it was the second year the NSW Seniors Festival had been held and it was previously known as Seniors Week.
He said previously library events for seniors covered health, cooking, technology and memory boosting activities.
"It's about seniors keeping mentally and physically active, keeping active in the community and society so their quality of life for the later years," Mr Brady said.
Mr Brady said because it's an important week for Banjo Paterson participants could expect at least one question connected to him.
He said there would be plenty of easy questions and some challenges too, prizes, as well as an afternoon tea with refreshments.
To register for the Seniors Trivia Afternoon phone the library on 6393 8132, places are still available.
There will also be a Be Connected Morning Tea for Seniors that will fall just outside the Seniors Festival on Monday, February 24 between 10am and noon.
The technology session will help seniors get more from their library membership with e-resources.
