Whichever you are, this Friday just wouldn't be what it is without the power of the written word.
From Shakespearean sonnets to Hallmark cards, poetry and prose is an essential element of any romantic gesture.
To celebrate the role of romantic writing in our lives Library Lovers Day will be asking everyone to participate in this year's theme of "Uncover something new."
Library Lovers' Day is an opportunity for library and information professionals to show off their libraries and for people across Australia to show their love for libraries.
Blayney librarian Ruth Bingham is asking everyone to share their book recommendations so you can "uncover something new" to read, listen to or watch.
You can also enjoy a blind date with a book and maybe find your "perfect match".
"The book I've entered is The Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club," she said.
