Kinross is still winless in the Royal Hotel Cup, having fallen to St Pat's Old Boys, Lithgow Lightning and Bathurst City so far in its campaign, and will be hunting for the first points on the board.
However, up against the batting power of Corben, Ben Mitchell and Kaleb Cook the students won't be able to put a foot wrong.
While Cook and Corben haven't caused fireworks yet in the Royal Hotel Cup, Cook put the competition on notice a fortnight ago when he smacked a brutal 151 in Bathurst in his last hit-out.
Despite still missing James Larkin this weekend, if Kinross' middle order can stand up to give some support to Will Luelf - who hit 48 in their last start at the top of the order - the students' stingy bowling attack might be able to cause an massive boilover.
Meanwhile, Lithgow Lightning and Jon Cronin held on in the final over as Bathurst City executed one of the Royal Hotel Cup's worst chokes at Wade Park on Wednesday night.
Needing just four runs to win in the final over, City could only manage two as Cronin took two wickets in a clutch final over, with Bathurst looking to hit over the top instead of nudging around for singles to meet the total.
It was one of four wickets taken by Cronin, who finished with 4-9 from his two overs as despite a 56 to Mark Day, City couldn't chase down Lithgow's 114.
Cronin top-scored for the Lightning, who never got going and lost wickets regularly throughout their innings, and were at one stage 6-59 before Nick Kenniff and Brock Barry put on a 32-run stand for the final wicket. The win sent the Lightning to second place on the ladder.
