A woman was taken to hospital in a stable condition and another was released at the scene following a car crash in Orange on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to the car crash at the intersection of Lords Place and March Street about 9.20am on Friday following the crash between a four-wheel-drive and a silver sedan.
Police and two ambulances went to the scene to attend to two female patients.
One woman, who was described as elderly, complained of chest pain when paramedics arrived on scene.

The woman was assessed as having minor injuries and was released at the scene.
Another woman, who was aged about 55, was transported by ambulance to Orange hospital in a stable condition.
The woman was conscious and breathing when ambulances arrived on scene.
Several police also attended the crash scene and closed the intersection of Lords Place and March Street.
The intersection has since reopened.
