A drink-driver was stopped by police for a random breath test after he was seen driving without his headlights on after 8pm.

William Cain Gaiter, 28, of Carroll Street, Lucknow, was stopped in the Orange CBD after police saw him turn right at the Summer Street and Hill Street roundabout on December 6, 2019.
After stopping Gaiter gave a positive breath tested and was taken to Orange Police Station for breath analysis.
He told police he drank an unknown quantity of full-strength alcohol between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
Gaiter was convicted in his absence in Orange Local Court on Monday. and returned a mid-range reading of 0.112.
He was fined $880, his driver's licence was disqualified for three months and he was given a 12-month interlock order.
