While the breakfast and celebration in Cook Park on Sunday is sure to draw a big crowd, there's plenty of other things going on at venues across the region.
For those of you hanging around over the three-day break, here's five ideas ...
1. Get in early with a party at the Hotel Orange ...
The Hotel Orange is celebrating one of their favourite days of the year by partying hard the night before.
They've got drink specials - including $10 cocktails - upstairs in the nightclub at their Australia Day event on Saturday evening.
Doors open at 10pm.
Entry will be $10 at the door.
2. Make the most of the weather on the roof top
Sunday is tipped to be a bit of a scorcher with temperatures above 30 degrees.
What better way to enjoy the summer afternoon than head upstairs to The Greenhouse of Orange?
There will be Australian food specials, an eating contest and live band, She KIX will perform from 12-4pm.
From 5pm, Aussie classic Crocodile Dundee will play on the rooftop cinema.
The free event runs 12pm-8.30pm.
3. Eat (probably) the best meal of the year
Six Orange Chefs are uniting this Australia Day to present the Bushfire Benefit Dinner.
Guests will be treated to a five-course meal with matched local wines, with proceeds from ticket sales, a raffle and auction going to the NSW Rural Fire Service and Australian Red Cross.
The dinner will be held at the Philip Shaw Wines Cellar Door from 5:45pm.
Tickets are $180 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.
4. Kick back to live music under the umbrellas
The Ophir Hotel is inviting all in for their Australia Day 2020 party.
There will be live music from 1.30pm, thanks to JAX Music, as well as a bunch of drink specials to keep the grown ups hydrated.
They will also have a courtesy bus available for pick ups and drop offs all day.
The Ophir is open from 12-4pm on Sunday.
5. Salute the legends and climb on their truck
Nashdale Lane Wines will offer families the opportunity to salute the local NSW Rural Fire Service on Monday.
Crew members from the Towac branch will be at the cellar door to answer questions and show the kids around their fire truck.
Wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks and light nibbles will also be available.
The meet and greet afternoon came about after Nashdale donated $1000 to the crew following the Grapes of Mirth comedy show.
Since November, the Towac crew have been looking for a way to show their appreciation.
Come and show yours from 12.30pm. A gold coin donation is appreciated.
