The duo peppered goals at nets across the whole tournament, with Reith-Snare topping the tally for most goals at the championship with a phenomenal 18, doubling the next-best in teammate Ella Gibson, while Townsend finished with five.
Reith-Snare scored twice in the opening three minutes of NSW's gold medal match against Queensland in Wollongong last week, with Lily Nelson scoring a minute later.
The side, up 3-nil just four minutes into the clash, never looked like faltering in the final, and despite Queensland nabbing two back in four minutes, Reith-Snare's Confederates teammate Townsend found the back of the net in the 16th minute.
Reith-Snare found the back of the net again in the third period to complete the hat-trick for the eventual 6-2 win.
The gold medal match capped off a dominant performance at the championship from the NSW side, with two goals the most the outfit conceded in a single match in its undefeated run.
Rieth-Snare in particular had a dominant performance in front of goal across the tournament, with the Confederates young gun scoring five times in NSW's 16-nil demolition of Tasmania and four times in both the side's 8-nil victory over Victoria and 6-1 win over Western Australia.
All in all, Reith-Snare went goalless in just the one outing, a 9-nil win over ACT, and finished with a staggering 18 goals from seven games.
Townsend scored twice in the win over ACT, finishing with five goals to her name across the tournament.
