His show at the Molong Campdraft Grounds will include a combination of horsemanship, working dog demonstrations and live-country music from his new album We're Still Here.
The Molong Pony Club will use the event as a fundraiser, providing catering and running the bar during the show on January 31.
With the horse, dog and country-music shows, Mr Curtain said his aim is to celebrate the resilience of rural communities who are battling through drought, flood and fire.
He said the We're Still Here song is dedicated to the communities who keep fighting.
"Overall, I wanted to bring a smile to people listening to certain songs and inspire people out there battling to hold on and speak up in times of hardship," Mr Cutain said.
"I love storytelling and there's a few good yarns in there as well."
The feature single, She Gave Us The Song, is a collaboration with fellow Golden Guitar winners Sara Storer and Lee Kernaghan and a tribute to legendary songwriter and artist, Joy McKean.
Mr Curtain is also an ambassador for Dolly's Dream, a charity set up in memory of Amy 'Dolly' Everette who took her own life at aged 14 after an extended period of bullying.
He wrote the anti-bullying song Speak Up, sales of which raised more than $20,000 for the not-for-profit organisation.
He will visit Molong Central School on January 31 to talk to students about bullying.
