The combined Sydney side retained bragging rights over their country rivals after Daksh Hule and Isaac Craddock hit 32 and 32 not out off just 24 and 23 balls respectively to set the platform for city.
Both batters retired, with Dylan Melvey, Sam Simmons and Nick Bunting all making starts, but the damage had been done with the side setting Country 133 for victory, despite the best efforts of Pratham Mishra (2-20 from four) with the ball.
Country's Luke Hunter and Ted Murray had the maroons off to a blistering start, with Hunter picking up a five to open his side's account on the scoreboard to race to 0-49 before Murray retired and Lucy Wilson struck.
Wilson (3-25 from four) took two wickets in two balls, just missing out on the hat-trick the next over, but aside from Fletcher Marshall's 21, City turned the screws, with Wilson, Will Nutt (2-14 from four) and the rest of the City bowling attack taking five wickets in four overs to stop Country's momentum.
With 16 needed off the last over, Country nearly stole the show with 12 off it, but just couldn't reach the total as they finished on 129.
