The teenager reversed the Breaker's fortunes after they were relegated to 5-37 in the 11th over in pursuit of ACT Meteor's 177 in their Women's National Cricket League match at Hurstbridge.
Litchfield strode to the crease at 4-37 after a top order collapse, only to have Australian player Ashleigh Gardner run out before advancing the score with 150 runs still to get.
The Orange gun stepped up to the plate and scored well over half of them, hitting 10 fours and a six on her way to 82 and a miraculous win.
Lauren Smith (17) stuck with Litchfield to put on 54 runs for the seventh wicket before Rene Farrell (38 not out) joined the Kinross product in an 88-run stand.
Litchfield was named player of the match for the knock which delivered the three-wicket win.
Earlier, she'd taken two catches as the Breakers dismissed the Meteors for 177, one combining with Farrell and another off fellow young gun Hayley Silver-Holmes to dismiss Claire Kosti and Carly Leeson.
As well as playing her part with the bat, Farrell finished with 3-12 off 7.4 overs with ball in hand as the Meteors were all out in the final over.
The win means the Breakers stay on top of the WNCL standings, a bonus point clear of Western Australia and three wins from their four games.
The Breakers' next match will also be against the Meteors at Manuka Oval on January 23.
