Six of the region's best will create a five-course meal including matched local wines, with proceeds from ticket sales, a raffle and an auction going to the NSW Rural Fire Service and Australian Red Cross.
The dinner will be held at the Philip Shaw Wines Cellar Door on January 26 from 5:45pm.
These guys are leading the way and sending a powerful message that Orange is still open for business
- Caddie Marshall
Donating their time, culinary talent and expertise to the event is Richard Learmonth from Sister's Rock, Liam O'Brien from Charred Kitchen & Bar; Chris Tudor from Byng Street Café; Dom Aboud and Matt Benson from The Union Bank, and Francesco Zarella from Philip Shaw.
Mr Learmonth said the group of talented young chefs are energised and motivated to make a difference on behalf of the Orange region.
"On top of that, we're all good friends who have talked about working together for some time now," he said.
"Who knows, it might become a regular collaboration."
Supporting the kitchen will be Mary Nelson from Sister's Rock, Sarah Crowley from Union Bank and Carine Miller from Philip Shaw, who will lead the team of volunteer wait staff.
All involved have donated their time, with local suppliers Country Fruit, Barrett's Wholesale and Woodward Street Butcher donating goods and produce.
Orange360 General Manager Caddie Marshall said they applaud this collaboration between some of Orange's "newest and most exciting chefs."
"What makes this event even more powerful is that it's a demonstration of support and resilience in this time of drought," she said.
"These guys are leading the way and sending a powerful message that Orange is still open for business, and we have fantastic experiences and events to offer".
Tickets are $180 and can be purchased via Eventbrite. Limited to 100 seats.
