In chase of Northern Districts' 9-167, Hugh Sienkiewicz's 55 inspired the side to a two-wicket win with less than four overs left.
The Central West side was cruising at 5-124 before losing 3-19 after Northern Districts brought opener Jaden Sequeria (4-28 from 10) back into the attack, but it wasn't enough as Dubbo limped home.
Hugo De Veroli had earlier made 51 for Northern Districts as Rudy Peet and Lachlan Rummans both took three wickets apiece for Dubbo.
Meanwhile, Blacktown piled on a massive total of 8-298 off their 50 overs, with even contributions with the bat pushing them towards a win over South-Eastern.
Aayush Madan and Daksh Hule hit 66 and 61 respectively, with Madan's 63-ball effort only containing eight boundaries, while Hule found the boundary 12 times in his 91-minute stay at the crease.
Seb Franjic (44), Eli Sumares (36) and Mahir Vaya (35) were also amongst the runs tally as only Will Caldwell made any headway with the ball, taking 3-65 from nine overs.
In response, South Eastern were unable to get the Blacktown side off the wicket, with opening bowlers Nick Bunting and Tushar Sharma combining for figures of 2-10 off the first 10 overs.
Things didn't improve as only Jordan Segal could crack 20, with the side all-out for 86.
A Harry Dunn 75 helped Penrith crack 4-205 in their 50 overs, hitting eight fours in his 113-ball stay at the crease, with Josh Watson (46 not out) also lifting the score.
Despite a 71-run stand between opener Will Roswell and number four Sam Hirst, Mosman lost 7-44 to finish on 165 all-out.
A late salvo from Wakatipu High School's Alkie O'Connell helped launch the Kiwi's revenge for losing the Sharpe-Mawhinney Shield on Sunday, with the all-rounder whacking 58 from 40 deliveries to help steer the visitors to 9-262 against Mitchell.
Micah Walther (42) and Aiden Young (38) helped at the bottom of the WHS order after Todd Viemer hit 44 while opening.
Mitchell couldn't pick up any momentum in response as no batters were able to pass 20 as Fin Marshall picked up two wickets.
The hosts were 6-125 off 40 overs at time of publishing.
St John's India had a tough task with the bat in their first game on Australian soil, with the visitors rolled for just 94 by Wagga Wagga, with Charan Madala top-scoring with 24.
While they had Wagga Wagga 3-15 in response on a tricky Jack Brabham 2 deck, Austin Cornell and Lachie Higman hit 41 and 25 respectively to steady the ship, and while both were dismissed before the tally was reached, Wagga reached the total in less than 30 overs.
Play resumes at 9am on Tuesday.
