United Dance Project, Colour City Dance, Dance HQ, Central West Performing Arts and Doves and Dimes will be holding a charity workshop all day at the Orange High School Performing Arts Centre on Sunday, with all proceeds going to the Rural Fire Service.
Doves and Dimes' Pania Taku has been the catalyst for bringing the schools together, and since the spark a few weeks ago teachers and choreographers have been bouncing off each other like they haven't in months.
"This is the first time we've ever done something like this so thanks to Doves and Dimes for giving us the idea and giving us the platform to be able to do that," Ms Goodwin said.
"The dance community in Orange is huge, this is massive."
Doves and Dimes instructor Emann Rodriguez said everyone was welcome.
"We don't mind if you're a mum or a younger student or at another dance school, we want everyone to come along," he said.
"It's parents as well, if they want to boogie they can bring their kids along. The school's offered an area for kids to play so there's no excuses mate, you're coming in here and you're going to start dancing and have a wonderful day. And the cause is for the bushfires."
He said plenty of instructors would be visiting on the day, as well as reaching out to former Stars of Orange contestants.
"[Collaboration] hasn't happened like this before and people have opened their minds to what they can do to help the bushfires.
"In a small town people think they have to hold their own business, but it's not about that it's about getting out and helping Australia."
"This is going to create such a massive thing for Orange in general, the whole dance community is going to evolve and get better."
