Apple City Tours will run two coaches for $44 return from Orange to the festival so revellers do not have to drive.

The first, leaving at 8am, will get travellers to the festival in time for the Elvis Parade and return at 5pm, while the 1pm coach will be just the ticket for those who want to spend the afternoon listening to the music acts, returning at 11.30pm.

Orange-based Elvis tribute artist James Caulfield encouraged people to attend, even if they did not have bookings for the ticketed events, with free entertainment including an Elvis tribute contest in Cook Park.

"It's wonderful, that has the best people from across Australia," he said.

"The parade's the best part, everyone loses it - I've been part of it and you get hooked, first you start cheering and then you start dancing, you can't help yourself.

"More than anything, we want them to be there because of the drought - this is how we can help, if we are there spending money."

Apple City Tours' Ryan Marshall said it was the third year the operator had been involved.

"It means just not having to drive in summer and not having to fight for a park," he said.

The coach will be the only non-private transport provided to Orange travellers for the event after both Elvis trains were rerouted due to bushfire damage.

The Elvis Express and Blue Suede Express will instead travel via Cootamundra on Thursday, bypassing Orange.

NSW Trainlink confirmed the track damage from the bushfires between Lithgow and Mount Victoria prevented the trains getting through.
