It was a long haul to get here - 13 years of study - but many students say it was well worth it.
HSC students in many Central West towns met early for a breakfast barbecue and to talk results, while others held their celebrations a little later in the day.
We've had journalists and photographers out and about across the region all day covering the reactions from students, teachers and parents and we've been bringing it to you live.
We joined students at their barbecues to hear how they felt about receiving their highly-anticipated results.
