The Orange branch of the RSPCA held their third annual Santa Paws photoshoots, with good boys and girls coming in to have their snap taken with Santa.
RSPCA Orange branch manager Rita Perkons said the day was a "blast".
"We were booked out two weeks ago but people kept ringing up and we put them on the waiting list and thought 'we'll just squeeze them in'," she said.
"We've had people coming in constantly and it's been brilliant."
The RSPCA volunteers also had the chance to catch up with some old friends during the photoshoots, with many animals who had spent time at the shelter being brought in by their new owners for a snap, and a chance to create happier memories at the shelter.
"We've old dogs that lived here and we looked after came back so it's also good for staff to see the dogs and say hello and see happy family photos," Ms Perkons said.
She said there hadn't been anyone adopting for Christmas presents in Orange so far, but some people had come in with intention to adopt after returning from holidays in January, and surrenders hadn't increased.
