Western Zone Academy coach Greg Rummans said he's confident he side has what it takes to contend, particularly considering the strength of their batting order.
"There's] some good players with Koda Sissian and Cooper Brien from Bathurst, it's a very strong line up," Rummans said.
"They'll have to work on their bowling, but there's some really good prospects with guys like Mac Webster, he's really coming along this year.
"Our spinners will be a big help. George Cumming, Anthony Atlee and Harry Bayliss are all very strong, but they'll have their work cut out for them."
Webster and Cumming both ply their trade for Kinross in the Bathurst-Orange Inter-District Cricket competition, while the side's strong Dubbo contingent are thriving in the RSL Whitney Cup too.
"In all sorts of areas, that'll help them out. The Dubbo guys are playing first or second grade, which is good," Rummans said.
"Tom Coady, Campbell Watts, Kody Sissian and Anthony Atlee. They're all pretty well entrenched in first grade sides now and Lawson Shepherd has been pretty well entrenched in Rugby for a while now.
"Cooper Brien and George Cumming have both done very well for themselves and their clubs in Bathurst and Orange and Harry Bayliss has been doing some great stuff over in Parkes."
"There's six this year that are playing Green Shield in Sydney, which is probably the highest percentage of players we've had representing there ever and there could easily have been more."
The 2019-20 Bradman Cup will be played from January 7 to 10 at Albury, with Western set to face Riverina, Central Coast, Central Northern, Illawarra and then finish with a blockbuster, final-day showdown with traditional powerhouse Newcastle.
The side is coached by Peter Endacott.
