Station Officer Brad Monico said a crew was called to Raines Place at 5.21pm after a couch that was against a fence was set alight.
He said the fire breached the neighbour's side of the fence.
At 6.10pm firefighters were again called out, this time to a car fire near homes at Cootes Park.
The car fire was extinguished by about 7.05pm.
At 10.30pm that night firefighters were called out to a third fire at Glenroi after a grassfire was lit near the skate park at Glenroi Oval.
Station Officer Monico said the fires all appeared to be deliberately lit and the investigation was handed over to police.
The fires followed four "minor" grass fires on Thursday.
"It's finishing off a busy week," he said.
