While his side's win over Rugby Union on Saturday appears a lay-down misere, Centrals' boom all-rounder Fletcher Rose has the chance to join two of the modern era's most-devastating bats in one of its most-exclusive clubs.

Rose could become just the third player in Orange's modern era to score a ton in consecutive games, with only Waratahs' Ray Doolan and Orange City's Nathan Rosser managing the feat since the turn of the decade, both doing so in 2009-10.
That summer Doolan opened the summer with a ton against Kinross then doubled up, in more ways than one, by belting an unbeaten 206 against Centrals in round two.
[Rose] was out there belting them all over the place.
- Rugby Union's Tim McKinnon
The students felt the brunt of Rosser's force that summer too as he smashed 123 not out in round 11, promptly whalloping 183 against Waratahs the following week.
While Rosser went close to three on the trot, he'd belted 94 in the Royal Hotel Cup the night before his Kinross romp, Doolan actually achieved that exact feat with scores of 113, 140 and 136 in consecutive innings the summer before.
Rose will resume on 54 at Bathurst Sportsground with his side needing just 21 for victory on day two of the Bathurst-Orange Inter-District Cricket competition's fourth round, his unbeaten knock following a match-winning century against Kinross.
"[Rose] was out there belting them all over the place," Rugby Union's Tim McKinnon said, Centrals are 2-120 in reply to the Bulldogs' 140.
"We didn't really bowl in the right areas ... it was pretty ordinary for us."
McKinnon had what he labelled an 'okay' day personally after being the only Bulldogs bat to offer any sort of resistance with a gritty 47 before picking up the scalp of prolific run-scorer Nick Dunlop, but admitted his side just didn't click.
In fact, with a new-look and young outfit, outside their sole victory of 2019-20 over CYMS they've not really clicked all summer.
"There's five or six players who haven't played a lot of first grade. Playing at this level is a bit of a learning experience for them," McKinnon, one of a handful of former ORC players in the side, said.
Rose will be joined by Jake Pauletto (51 not out) when play resumes at 1.30pm, while over at Morse Park 1 Centennials will start the day against Orange City at 9-268. Whether the Bulls intend to declare immediately remains to be confirmed.
CYMS need just nine runs to secure a first-innings win over Bathurst City at Wade Park while St Pat's Old Boys require another 105 to knock off Kinross.
Cavaliers skipper Matt Corben starts the day unbeaten on 44 at Riawena Oval, his side requires another 98 to keep City Colts winless.
