A woman who was caught driving while her licence was suspended on October 12, was convicted in Orange Local Court.

Rebekah Jade Trudgett, 32, of Hill Street, was fined $333 and she was disqualified from driving for three months.
She did not appear in court but wrote a letter to the magistrate.
Trudgett was caught driving west on Matthews Avenue at 11am on October 12.

She was driving a Subaru sedan which was detected by a police number plate recognition device due to having cancelled registration for a fine default.
When police spoke to Trudgett and asked for her licence she said "police took it away from me".
Her licence had been suspended from August 15 to November 14 for driving while unaccompanied.
She was also driving while unaccompanied on October 12 as well.
