The Orange Liquor Accord, the Taxis of Orange Co-operative and Orange and Cabonne councils have united to encourage bosses to have plans in place to make sure their staff get home safely from this year's Christmas party.
A 10 or 15 minute wait for a cab is better than losing your licence for three months.

The first 10 workplaces to register on each of the next three weeks will receive up to 10 taxi vouchers, valued at $10 each, for staff to use to get home from Christmas parties.
Road Safety officer for Orange and Cabonne councils Andrea Hamilton-Vaughan said immediate loss of licence and a $572 fine awaited anyone caught driving over the limit this Christmas.
"If you have to wait 10 or 15 minutes for a cab that's better than losing your licence for three months," she said.
The Orange Liquor Accord chair Mark Murphy said they had put up $2000 for the campaign.
"Calling a cab after a Christmas party is a great way of looking after your work mates and making sure they get home safely," Mr Murphy said.
Orange mayor Reg Kidd said planning would make for a safe party season.
"Leave the car at home and make a taxi your Plan B," he said.
