The fastest runners over the three distances were:

3km - female - Milla Jurd 15:24, Pip Farquharson 16:38 and Annabel Hosie17:59; Male - Tim Guy 11:44, Jake Munckton 13:59, Michael Kennard 15:51

7km - female - Kelly Jurd 44:14, Megan Mori 49:28, Tilly Thornton 50:00; Male - Peter Finlay 39:30, John Connolly 40:55, Alex Irwin 43:21

10km - female - Carissa Hickey 57:14, Ayako Kusui 58:04, Grace Hosie 1:03:10; Male - Iain McLean 45:05, Warwick Blackwell 50:55, Paul Anderson 52:10.

Overall winner was Ruth Brown who was fourth female finished in the 3km run in a time of 21:05.

Also on the weekend Ian and Alison Spurway travelled to Canberra to compete in the Mount Stromlo 30km trail race only to find someone had entered themselves in the 50km event.

Not to be daunted by the challenge, they not only completed the 50kms, but Ian finished third in his age group in a time of 5:36:38 and Alison second in her age group in an amazing 6:04:04.

On Wednesday night at Elephant Park, 95 members turned out including the Junior Spring Carnival competitors.

The fastest overall runners over the three laps were:

Male - Tim Guy 10:07, Alexander Elder 10:27 and Iain McLean 10:33; Females - Amber Rich 11:47, Leanne Corcoran 11:49 and Grace Hosie 12:21.

Personal Best times were recorded by Freddie Farquharson 1m7s, George Hogg 30s, Emily Palmer 13s, Claire Gates 57s, Peter Finlay 4s and Oscar Meek 3s.

The overall handicap winner is was Sonia Schonknecht who ran 15:05 for the three laps.

Cameron Ross 300 runs, Lucy Jurd 100 runs were recognised for achieving the milestones.

This month's trail run is at Kinross Forest starting at 7am on Sunday morning. See the runners club website or Facebook page for more information.

This Sunday the Club run is at Endeavour Oval starting at 9am with one to four laps of the 2.83km course.
