That's how winning hoop Jake Pracey-Holmes described Nestor's tricky gelding after his November 8 win, he did add he was hopeful the five-year-old might kick on as a result though.
It looks like he'll have the chance to do so on Friday in Racing Orange's TLE & Hometech Ladies and Tradies Day, Nestor's put Dad's Boy up for the Benchmark 66 Handicap over 2100 metres.
It's the same journey he won over earlier this month, that was his second victory from 27 career starts.
Should they both start - acceptances are due on Wednesday - Dad's Boy will face two other last-start winners in Luke Thomas' Eureka Sky and Luke Pepper's Fox Beat.
He'll also have Garry White's Cool One to contend with, both the Hawkesbury trainer and his mare have fond memories of the track.
White has won a record five Orange Gold Cup's and Cool One's had two starts at Orange for a win and a second placing.
Towac-based trainers Alison Smith and Alex Van Den Bos have both nominated runners for the eight-race program, which has welcomed 86 potential winners, while former Orange trainer Gary Portelli continues his support.
