Police are hunting for an offender after a stolen car led them on a pursuit from Lone Pine Avenue to Dalton Street on Sunday night.

Central West Police District Chief Inspector Dave Harvey said the silver Ford was stolen from an Anson Street house at 9.20pm.
"The victim heard the vehicle drive away," he said.
About 11.30pm police patrolling for the car spotted it on Lone Pine Avenue "travelling at excessive speed."
Police pursued the vehicle down Bathurst, Allenby and Icely roads and Autumn and Dalton streets as the car travelled at between 50-80 km/h.
Chief Inspector Harvey said police spotted the car against a front fence on the footpath outside a Dalton Street house.
"The driver had fled the location," he said.

"The vehicle was recovered for scientific examination."
He said police were looking for "the offender or offenders."
