Known going forward as Danmar Jewellery and Second Chance Collectables, the focus will be more on jewellery and smaller collectables.
"The size of this store doesn't hold pieces of furniture, and I do like my bling," she said.
Ms Blacklow will stock a range of new and antique jewellery, hoping to capitalise on Quest guests staying close to home base.
Financial advice
AFTER years in financial planning Tyron Mitchell has started his own business.
Mr Mitchell reserved the name Orange Financial Planning some time ago.
"I always pictured I would own my own business, but I didn't think I was ready," he said.
Deciding to leaving MoneyLink, he opened two offices in Summer and Byng Streets, to serve different clients.
He said he wanted to work with newer technology, including digital document signing, and take a step-by-step approach with clients.
Pop-up shop
THIS weekend's start-of-season opening at Huntley Berry Farm will also give visitors a chance to care for pets needing a home.
Jasmine Smart runs Central West Animal Rescue from Orange, but also started Love Loki Unique Pet Accessories recently as a creative outlet and to dress the pets needing rehoming ahead of their photo shoots.
This Saturday, she will open a pop-up stall of leads, collars, bow ties and bandannas, from 9am-3pm.
"Twenty per cent from each sale goes towards the rescue," she said.
Group for mums
A MILLTHORPE businesswoman has started a networking group for mothers who are leaders in their businesses to help them stay on track.
Emma Harrison-Smith owns Millthorpe Little Learning Centre, but felt isolated when she started juggling her role with pregnancy and a toddler.
"I didn't know anyone in a leadership position with very small children," she said.
Mrs Harrison-Smith started Boss Mum Collective on Facebook, which allowed mothers to share stories, suggestions and their products and services and as a platform for networking events.
