Work will begin on Monday, November 18, with a northern stretch of the road between 162 Shiralee and 131 Shiralee, as well as the intersection with Rifle Range Road, to be closed during the works.
The road closures will start from 7am each Monday morning and last until 5pm Friday afternoon, and last for five weeks.

Shiralee Road will be open during weekends, however. All affected residents have been notified.
Orange City Council says traffic detours will be in place to help manage traffic around the road closures.
Motorists are being urged to take care when driving in the vicinity of the road works and follow the directions of traffic controllers and signage.
