I would like to thank the two young tradesmen who came to our rescue when we were walking our dog at the wetlands in Ploughmans Lane.

A black staffy came tearing across the road to "greet" our dog who was on a lead and therefore reacted badly.
The very quick-thinking tradesmen, who were driving past, pulled up and came to help separate the dogs.
What could have turned into a very bad situation was promptly dealt with by these wonderful good samaritans.
