Heifer Station Wines were finalists in the Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries category for the second year, taking home the Gold on Thursday after just three and a half years of operating the cellar door.
"We are just thrilled" said owner Phillip Stivens.
"It's a credit to our entire team to have achieved so much in what is really a short space of time. We love what we do, and we work hard at it, so it's fantastic to be recognised for that".
All of our operators are lifting the game
- Caddie Marshall, Orange360
Orange360 were finalists in the Destination Marketing category for its Extend The Weekend campaign.
The $260,000 marketing campaign targeted the millennial market and aimed to increase awareness of the Orange region as a holiday destination. The campaign ran for 8 weeks between May and June.
Orange360 General Manager Caddie Marshall said in some areas results outperformed targets by up to 700 per cent.
Ms Marshall congratulated businesses across the region.
"All of our operators are lifting the game and delivering exceptional and immersive tourism experiences to visitors," she said.
"We can't wait to see what 2020 brings for our region and look forward to welcoming back visitors again and again."
In its 30th year, the NSW Tourism Awards acknowledge tourism businesses that demonstrate outstanding achievement throughout the year.
Speaking at the Awards, NSW Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney, Stuart Ayres highlighted the importance of tourism to the state's economy.
"The NSW Government has set an ambitious target of delivering $55 billion in overnight visitor expenditure for the state's economy by 2030, and the calibre of industry leaders recognised by these awards give me great confidence that we will surpass that target," said Mr Ayres.
"I thank them all for their commitment to excellence."
The 2019 NSW Tourism Awards featured 27 categories, including tourist attractions, festivals and events, ecotourism, new tourism business, destination marketing, accommodation and excellence in accessible tourism.
Both Orange360 and Heifer Station Wines now move forward to the Australian Tourism Awards.
