The album features 12 tracks inspired by conversations with family and friends around her kitchen table in Millthorpe.
"The album is a trip through all the stuff you do at your kitchen table," she said.
"It's friends and family and the music we play around our table, but it's also those conversations."
Produced by her brother John Kane and mastered by Jeff McCormack, the album features her husband Jon Wilby, as well as musicians Christian Prusiak, Syd Green, and Smith & Jones.
"As a body of work, I'm quite proud of these songs because I feel a real connection to all the stories," she said.
Kane is providing Central West residents the chance to hear her live, when she launches the album on November 17 at Club Millthorpe.
The launch with include performances from her brother and Andy Gordon.
Kane said the album's lead single, Dust & Bones, captures her feelings about Millthorpe.
"It's my way of saying that I love this town, and I'm grateful that she has taken me into her heart," she said.
