MAMMA Mia, James Morrison and comedy festivals will be among the offerings at Orange Civic Theatre next year.
The theatre held a subscription season launch on Tuesday night to announce the 2020 program.
Performing arts manager Michelle Pearce said the season would include 30 shows, an increase on the 2019 season, which offered 27 shows.
"It's a range of shows that are homegrown, as well as national and international touring shows - they're a mix of dance, orchestra, circus and drama, we've got musicals and music, and companies bringing work we haven't seen before," she said.
Orange Theatre Company will lead the charge, staging Mamma Mia: The Musical for three weekends and Beauty and the Beast for two weekends.
"Orange Theatre Company does such a fantastic job every year and we certainly want to continue that and give people the opportunity to be involved in theatre," Ms Pearce said.
Orange Symphony Orchestra and Orange Chamber Orchestra will take centrestage, with the Australian Doctor's Orchestra also choosing Orange as its venue this year - Ms Pearce said the musicians were all doctors and they only played one concert a year.
"It's going to raise funds for palliative care in Orange," she said.
The Wharf Review will return this year, renowned trumpeter James Morrison will perform with his quartet in Orange for the first time in more than a decade, while both Sydney and Melbourne international comedy festival roadshows will pay a visit.
Sydney Dance Company and Opera Australia will return, while Shake and Stir will perform Animal Farm and run school holiday workshops in April.
The 2019 season had more than 600 subscribers - subscribers give an undertaking to attend five shows and in return are given first choice and better prices on seats.
Ms Pearce said given the recent tough times due to drought, she would be happy if 2020 numbers remained stable.
"This is a leisure activity so we hope to do something similar - we think we have a program that's enticing enough to to that," she said.
