So far, 368 people have donated blood for the initiative, which has doubled the number of lives it saved last year during the inaugural campaign.
It is not too late to donate blood for this year's cause, which started in May to make up for a downturn in blood donations brought about by regular donors getting sick during the winter period.
To say thank you to all the people who have donated and their families, Orange Health Service staff will host a celebration on November 16, complete with music and dance performances put on by doctors, nurses and support workers.
Nursing unit manager Clare Morcom said the blood donations didn't only help people who are being treated for physical trauma but blood products can also help people who have cancer as well as mothers and new born babies.
All Red Love in Orange blood donors will be invited to the thank you event at Bloomfield Hall at 6.30pm.
"We will have a stage presentation, there will be special dances and junior doctors will do a musical band performance," Ms Morcom said.
"It's a thank you for the people who have donated.
"This is the second year we are running this campaign, it was quite successful."
When the campaign started last year it only involved Orange, however this year Dubbo also joined in and next year there are plans to involve the entire Western Area Health District.
As well as hospital staff and people who have visited the hospital, members of the Orange Australasian Cultural Group also donated for the Red Love in Orange Campaign this year.
Anyone who still wants to take part in the campaign can visit the Orange Donor Centre in Kite Street and ask to be put in the Red Love in Orange Group when they make their blood donation.
