After an extensive police operation on Wednesday a man's body was removed from within a building in the Mudgee CBD.
Police established a crime scene in the city after the body was discovered on Tuesday afternoon.
The 19-year-old Mr Darcy was reported missing on the weekend after failing to return home from a night out.
Mr Darcy was last seen on Market Street at about 2.30am on Saturday.
Officers from the Orana Mid Western Police District were continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the teen's death.

A police report said initial inquiries suggested the death was not suspicious.
Police had issued a warning to the public on Wednesday morning that their efforts could cause some disruption to pedestrian and vehicle access in areas of the CBD.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
