A FLOCK of Australian dorper sheep have been stolen from a Central West property with police calling on information from the public.

Officers attached to the Chifley Police District say the theft occurred late last week.
"A local landholder at Mandurama reported the theft of nine Australian dorper sheep from his property on Somers Lane sometime between November 1 and 3," State Rural Crime Co-ordinator Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.
"Police attended and are asking for assistance from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or if anyone saw a vehicle in the area capable of transporting these animals."
Detective Inspector Whiteside has urged anyone with information concerning this incident to contact Blayney Police Station on 6368 9599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
