Dr Andrew Flatau will officially open Heartland, an exhibition of 63 original paintings from the pair.
The pink salt lakes of Australia and the deep history of mining are the two themes in Winters work.

- Tim Winters
He said the inland lakes on the border of NSW and Victoria have been a source of inspiration for some time.
"It's flat, scrubby country where the salt turns pink when it's revealed to the sun," he said.
"When I get onto a theme I tend to work it pretty hard."
Winters said this series has been produced from reflecting on old works and reinventing them with a fresh perspective.
"They are really works from memory and imagination rather than being descriptive works," he said.
The more than 20 pieces Winters has on show vary in size from 30 centimetre pieces to 1.2 metre mixed-media paintings on canvas.
They vary in price from $1250 to $5500.
Hanging alongside Winters in the Heartland exhibition, is Archibald Prize finalist Madeleine Winch.
Winch's work is held in public collections including the National Gallery of Victoria, Macquarie University, The Kedumba Collection of Australian Drawings, and NSW Regional Galleries of Orange, Maitland, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo and New England.
