A woman was been found dead by Essential Energy workers following a one-car accident on The Escort Way on Monday morning.

A car was located down an embankment near the Molong Creek, about six kilometres west of Orange, and the body of a woman in her 20s was located.
It's believed the car had collided with a power pole.
Central West Police District Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said the woman's identity had not yet been released, but next of kin had been notified.
"Shortly after 7am this morning Essential Energy workers attended a power outage on The Escort Way just outside Orange," he said.
"On their arrival they found a motor vehicle crash an unfortunately a deceased female."
Chief Inspector Atkins said Essential Energy workers were responding to a power outage which occurred at about 6.40am.
The Escort Way remained opens in both directions.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash, and believe just the one vehicle was involved.

They are yet to determine what caused the crash.
Chief Inspector Atkins asked anyone with information to come forward.
"If there were any drivers on The Escort Way this morning who may have any information please contact Orange police," he said.
