Organisers of the annual cycling event will donate $2000 to Buy a Bale and will encourage cyclists to pitch in when they register.
Bicycle Network aims to raise more than $10,000 for the campaign for farmers, when it returns to the region in March 2020.
It would be wrong for us to visit and not do everything we can to help.

Starting and finishing in Orange, the full 170-kilometre route will take riders through Canowindra, Cargo, Belubula Way, Mandurama and Forest Reefs.
There will also be a 70-km Orange to Canowindra ride with 770 metres of climbing and 100-km Canowindra to Orange ride with 1430 metres of climbing.
Bicycle Network spokesperson Anthea Hargreaves said the organisation had already committed to purchasing 200 bales of hay, but would like to buy a full truckload.
"Since 2016, we've been welcomed to Orange and the Central West and it's tough to now see these people battling terrible drought conditions," she said.
"It would be wrong for us to visit and not do everything we can to help."
The Bicycle Network spokesperson said they were also making plans to make sure the region's resources were managed responsibly during the event, which included water usage along the entire route.
Bicycle Network will hold community meetings ahead of March 2020 to discuss its plans.
"We understand that we need to minimise our own impact. Up to 2000 people will come to town for the event and we want the community to benefit without us using up local resources," she said.
