The Orange-based side's clash with the Western Goannas in the curtain-raiser for the France and Rams games and will be looking to snatch top position in front of a bumper crowd.
Vipers have had a strong start to the WWRL season with three wins from three starts, with a 44-12 victory of Panorma in the opening round and big wins over Castlereigh and Mudgee since then.
But despite being beaten and with an astonishing points difference of 96, the Vipers are second on the ladder, behind the Western Goannas, who are based out of Dubbo.
The Goannas are also unbeaten to open the season, having topped Castlereigh, Mudgee and Woodbridge on the road to Condobolin in their opening trio of games, and will present the Vipers' toughest challenge yet.
Vipers coach Marty Lyden admitted he didn't know a huge amount about the Goannas' side but was certain it'd be a test for his side.
"We haven't really had a side stick it to the girls yet this season and hopefully they'll be a good challenge," he said.
"Don't know a lot about them but I reckon it'll be like last time, they're a tough side and the girls will be in for a tough game."
The Vipers welcome back Kaitlyn Phillips from PMXIII duty and will be bolstered by Bec Ford, Heidi Reagan and Ebony Watson, all who missed the side's 38-14 win over Mudgee last weekend.
However, Lyden suspects both sides might have players unavailable for the mid-week clash, with "two or three" Vipers looking unlikely.
"We're lucky we've got the majority of our side available despite it being a midweek game, we've got 22 on the list and we'll only be missing two or three at most for the game," he said.
Lyden said the chance to play ahead of a massive clash and an international side was exciting prospect, even if it was one his troops hadn't discussed with "such a short turnaround".
"It'll be good to hopefully have a bit more of a crowd there," Lyden said.
While the Vipers are chock full of big rugby league names such as Phillips, Ford, Jacqui Lyden and Em McDonald, it's been the side's newcomers which have impressed the coach the most.
"It's all going really well, some of them might not have the skills but they always take what you tell them onboard and try to put it in place on the field," Lyden said.
"Maddi Smith has continued to get better and better but all the new girls have taken it onboard. Rianna Bordic was really good last week.
The match begins at 4.55pm at Parkes' Jock Colley Field ahead of the clash between the Western Rams and France at 7pm.
