THE Penrith Panthers have confirmed their opposition for their seventh NRL clash to be played at Bathurst's Carrington Park.

The Panthers will meet the Cronulla Sharks in a Round 9 clash at the Bathurst venue on Sunday, May 10, 2020.
It will be the first time Bathurst has hosted a Sunday afternoon clash, with kick-off at 2.05pm.
But it will be the second time the Sharks have played at Carrington Park after they met the Panthers in the first NRL match played in Bathurst back in 2014.
On that occasion the Sharks ran out 18-16 victors in heavy conditions but, since then, both sides - and the Carrington Park playing surface - have undergone significant transformation.
Panthers revealed their 2020 opponents ahead of the release of the full NRL draw later this morning.
"The annual Bathurst fixture forms part of the club's ongoing commitment to the growth of the game in central west NSW," Panthers said in a media release.
Tickets for the Bathurst fixture will be snapped up when they go on sale in December.

"It complements the significant work of the Panthers Regional Academy Program in Bathurst, Dubbo and Forbes, and the participation of Panthers junior representative sides in the Country Championships.

In 2014, Penrith Panthers signed a five-year deal with Bathurst Regional Council in 2014 to play one NRL match a year.
That deal has now been extended until 2028.
