Charlie Bubb and Jake Johnston met their stair climbing targets and surpassed their money raising expectations when they set off up the mountain on Saturday.
Alongside more than 70 other runners, the boys took part in 'Run for Judd' an event they championed in honour of Alana and Josh Cantrill, whose 15-month-old son Judd is in the Ronald McDonald House at Westmead Hospital in Sydney.
Mr Bubb ticked off his 50 laps up the steep stairs, while Mr Bubb slogged out 21.
Watching the action from her phone at Westmead Hospital, Mrs Cantrill said she was "overwhelmed" by the 200 strong crowd which made the trip to the Pinnacle on the weekend to raise money for RMH.
"I was extremely emotional all day on Saturday. To see the amount of people who generously came out and volunteered or took part meant the absolute world to me," she said.
Mr Cantrill joined in the run with Judd's 8-year-old sister Hannah, who ran seven laps for her baby brother.
In addition to the lengthy climb with her dad, Hannah raised $5100 with the support of Catherine McAuley Primary School where she's a student.
Hannah made a video which was shared on the RMH Facebook page, where she rallied support for the house.
"It would mean the world to me and my family," Hannah told the camera.
Her little brother has a rare condition known as Trachebronchomalacia or TBM, which has caused his airway to collapse, as well as a hole in his heart and malrotation of his stomach and intestines.
The Cantrill family first spent time in the RMH in May and has called it home permanently since Judd was airlifted to Sydney at the start of July.
On Monday, Mrs Cantrill said her little boy was "struggling a bit at the moment."
"We're hoping after the next surgery we'll see some more improvements," she said.
Judd was scheduled for surgery on November 6.
Mrs Cantrill said watching the run through social media on the weekend was "phenomenal."
"It was just person after person sharing," she said.
"It was phenomenal to see the effort people went to."
In addition to the event organisers stellar performances, Hayden Spencer and Mitchell Pearce both completed 21 laps and Lachlan Blunt clocked up 20.
The boys hope to make it an annual fundraiser event in Orange.
