But this Saturday, Charlie Bubb will be heading up and down those stairs 50 times, all in the name of a good cause.
This Saturday, the steps of Orange's lookout will be flooded with people taking part in the 'Run for Judd', a fun run put together by the family and friends of Alana and Josh Cantrill, whose 15-month-old son Judd is in the Ronald McDonald House at Westmead Hospital in Sydney.
Judd has a rare condition called Trachebronchomalacia or TBM, which has caused his airway to collapse, as well as a whole in his heart and malrotation of his stomach and intestines.
Mr Bubb, whose good mate Jake Johnston is Judd's uncle, said he wasn't looking forward to climbing the summit 50 times
"I don't know about running all of them," he said laughing.
You can have a bad day at work or whatever and you kick stones but you look at these kids and they're still positive despite being given the worst deck of cards.

"I'm going to try and crack 50. I'm selling them off at $10 each and had a goal of $500 and clocked it off just like that."
His tally a few days out from the event was over $1000, which made a fifth of the event's goal, which was set by Mr Johnston.
"When I started it I set the goal at $5000 and it's at $5600 and I think the majority of the donations will come through on the day," he said, with over 200 people indicating they'll attend via the Facebook event.
He said the idea had been sparked by visiting Judd at the Westmead Ronald McDonald House in Sydney.
"We were there for three to four hours and we got in the car and for the first two or three minutes we didn't say anything and then one of us just said 'wow'," Mr Johnston said.
"You can have a bad day at work or whatever and you kick stones but you look at these kids and they're still positive despite being given the worst deck of cards."
He said the visit inspired him to make the event happen.
"We saw everything [Ronald McDonald House] were doing for them and said we really need to get this happening, sent out a message through footy to 50 blokes, would you be keen, every one of them said they would and I made the Facebook event and it got this big," he said.
"If everything going well we might try and make it an annual event, even if Judd's back here in Orange because there'll always be families there."
The event begins at 9am at the Pinnacle lookout, but Mr Johnston said people would be able to attend, register and donate on the day.
The money raised will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
