The owner of the latest store confirmed for the former Myer store/Orange City Centre complex said he had knocked back offers from other regional cities to instead come to Orange.
Natural Fit Footwear owner Daniel Simone said they expected to be open in the site currently occupied by Laurie Claire Boutique in the last week of November.
Laurie Claire Boutique is moving to a new site in the former Myer store area.
Mr Simone said his business had two stores in the Illawarra region and one in southern Sydney but this would be their first store in a country area.
"We had offers from a lot of other centres, [including] Wagga and Albury. We felt Orange was a fantastic centre for us," he said.
Mr Simon said they started the business in November 2017.
"We stock brands that are comfort brands, mainly for women, though we do have some men's brands," he said.
"They allow for orthopedic features. They address very specific uses," he said.

Its brands include Skechers and Hush Puppies.
"It is targeted at a more mature demographic," he said.
"We felt Orange was the centre of the Central West for us to plan our very first store in the area," he said.
Mr Simone said they wanted to be open for summer as the footwear business was seasonal.
A development application for fitting out the shop has been lodged with Orange City Council.
It is currently being assessed by council staff.
Another DA for a children's playground in the food court area of the new complex has also been lodged.
It is understood this has been lodged on behalf of the centre management to provide a play area for the children of shoppers in the complex.
Natural Fit Footwear will be one of several shops new to Orange which will be moving into the new complex.
It has moved from a Summer Street site it has occupied for about 42 years to a new space in Anson Street.
It has taken over the former kitchenware space of the old Myer store.
Work started on the redevelopment of the site last year and with the exterior work largely completed workers are now concentrating on the internals of the site.
